Wildflowers were peaking on Coyote Buttes South.
We went Southern approach to sandstone teepee area starting at 5:10 AM. Winter visits required early starts for good light. No maintained trail, navigation skills required.
Wildlife/nature notes: Limited wildlife activity during hot days.
