Out the door at 5:10 AM. Coyote Buttes South sunrise session. We went Cottonwood Cove access to main formations starting at 5:10 AM. Spring and fall offered best conditions. Multiple photography spots throughout area. Midday light was harsh but the shadows added drama. Days like this are why I hike.
