4:45 AM start. Colorado River Grand Canyon. Worth it.
We went Upper half trip to Phantom Ranch takeout starting at 4:45 AM. Canyon temp inversions created variety. Navigation straightforward w/ river maps.
Soft overcast made for even exposure all day.
The trail rewards the patient.
