Pre-dawn start on Coyote Buttes South. We went Southern approach to sandstone teepee area starting at 6:00 AM spring and fall offered best conditions no maintained trail, navigation skills required. Midday light was harsh but the shadows added drama. Overall 4/5. Difficulty 3/5 scenery 5/5. Preparation is everything.
