Here is what worked (and what did not) on coyote buttes south.
We went cottonwood cove access to main formations starting at 5:35 am. Spring and fall offered best conditions. Multiple photography spots throughout area.
Gear that worked: crampons, gloves, buff.
Gps and offline maps absolutely essential.
