Timed it for golden hour on Bright Angel Campground.
We went Rim to river via corridor trails with camp night starting at 5:10 AM. Summer heat made inner canyon challenging. Water stations available on popular routes.
Midday light was harsh but the shadows added drama.
Ratings: 5 overall, 4 difficulty, 4 scenery.
Would do again in a heartbeat.
