Coyote Buttes South was my first serious permit and it was amazing.
We went Southern approach to sandstone teepee area starting at 5:10 AM. Winter visits required early starts for good light. Multiple photography spots throughout area.
Short version: Know where water is.
Miles are earned, not given.
