We went Shafer switchbacks into classic White Rim viewpoints starting at 6:50 AM. Dry air kept visibility sharp for most of the route. Traction stayed good, but dust built up after each vehicle group.
Wildlife/nature notes: Wildlife stayed far away from the main road corridor.
