The alarm went off at 5:35 AM and I was already awake.
We took Upper half trip to Phantom Ranch takeout with group of 5. Started around 5:35 AM when rain events rare but dramatic when they hit. The trail navigation straightforward with river maps. Water availability never an issue on river.
TLDR: Extra socks change everything.
Do your homework first.
