Late start, late finish. Coyote Buttes South in the evening light.
We went Cottonwood Cove access to main formations starting at 6:25 AM. Winter visits required early starts for good light. Multiple photography spots throughout area.
Midday light was harsh but the shadows added drama.
Ratings: 4 overall, 4 difficulty, 4 scenery.
