Late start, late finish. Coyote Buttes South in the evening light.
We went Southern approach to sandstone teepee area starting at 4:45 AM. Spring and fall offered best conditions. Sand and slickrock mix, GPS essential.
Light was best in the first two hours.
Short version: Backup headlamp batteries.
Still thinking about this one.
