Flora notes from White Rim.
We went Shafer switchbacks into classic White Rim viewpoints starting at 4:45 AM. Sun was strong in exposed stretches by late morning. Road surface was hardpack with a few washboard sections.
Wildlife/nature notes: Saw bighorn in the distance and lots of bird activity.
Already planning the next one.
