Bright Angel Campground FKT attempt? Not quite, but moved well.
We went Bright Angel Trail down to Bright Angel Camp starting at 5:10 AM. Summer heat made inner canyon challenging. Steep switchbacks require good pace management.
Would do again in a heartbeat.
