Animal encounters made The Subway special.
We went Out-and-back through Left Fork from Wildcat Canyon side starting at 6:00 AM. Wind stayed light, which made the river sections easier to handle. Rock steps were stable, w/ a few muddy pockets by the creek.
Wildlife/nature notes: No major wildlife encounters, just tracks in wet sand.
Overall 5/5. Difficulty 3/5. Scenery 4/5.
Would do again in a heartbeat.
