Family-friendly notes on The Subway.
We went Left Fork trailhead to the lower Subway section starting at 6:25 AM. Cool morning air helped us move fast before the canyon warmed up. Footing was solid on the dry benches and a little slick near water lines.
Ratings: 4 overall, 5 difficulty, 5 scenery.
TLDR: Turnaround time is not negotiable.
