The Subway with the kids.
We went Left Fork approach with a quick weather check at dawn starting at 5:10 AM. Cloud cover held until late morning and kept the slickrock from baking. Rock steps were stable, with a few muddy pockets by the creek.
Plan accordingly.
Quick notes:
- Gaiters for scree.
- Backup headlamp batteries.
