Wildflowers were peaking on White Rim.
We went White Rim day segment from the Island in the Sky side starting at 6:50 AM. Sun was strong in exposed stretches by late morning. Road surface was hardpack with a few washboard sections.
Wildlife/nature notes: No close wildlife encounters during the route.
