Photo notes from White Rim.
We went Shafer switchbacks into classic White Rim viewpoints starting at 4:45 AM. Morning temps were cool and almost windless. Traction stayed good, but dust built up after each vehicle group.
Light was best in the first two hours.
Worth every bit of effort.
