Here is what worked (and what did not) on The Wave.
We went Main Wave route w/ extra time for return navigation starting at 5:35 AM. Cold start turned into warm sun by mid-morning. Slickrock footing was solid where it stayed dry.
Gear that worked: Wind shell, Gloves, Puffy.
Light gaiters helped keep sand out during the hike out.
Days like this are why I hike.
