Wildlife sightings on White Rim:
We went Shafer switchbacks into classic White Rim viewpoints starting at 6:25 AM. Morning temps were cool and almost windless. Traction stayed good, but dust built up after each vehicle group.
Wildlife/nature notes: Wildlife stayed far away from the main road corridor.
TLDR: Keep music in your ears only.
Would do again in a heartbeat.
