The light on Canyonlands that morning was something else.
We took Shafer switchbacks into classic White Rim viewpoints with group of 6. Started around 6:50 AM when sun was strong in exposed stretches by late morning. The trail most of the route was in stable shape with minor rough patches. All water came from what we packed in.
Still thinking about this one.
