Kit breakdown from The Subway: We went Out-and-back through Left Fork from Wildcat Canyon side starting at 6:50 AM. Cool morning air helped us move fast before the canyon warmed up. Route finding was straightforward if we stayed on cairns and creek turns. Gear that worked: Rain jacket, Offline maps, Filter. A dry bag and warm layer were worth carrying even on a short day. Overall 4/5. Difficulty 4/5. Scenery 5/5. Preparation is everything.
