Wildflowers were peaking on The Wave.
We went Main Wave route with extra time for return navigation starting at 6:25 AM. Wind stayed mild and made exposed sections feel easier. Sand sections were soft but easy to follow with track lines.
Wildlife/nature notes: No wildlife issues, mostly open desert with good visibility.
The trail rewards the patient.
