The Subway was peaceful

There are moments when the trail gives you exactly what you need. We took left fork approach with a quick weather check at dawn with group of 5. Started around 5:35 am when cool morning air helped us move fast before the canyon warmed up the trail footing was solid on the dry benches and a little slick near water lines. Water was running and cold, so we packed extra socks for the exit. 10/10 would recommend. Quick notes: - know the bail-out options. - phone battery backup. - trust the cairns. - mark key waypoints. - do not trust parking to work out.
