The Subway: no sugarcoating.
We went Left Fork approach with a quick weather check at dawn starting at 6:00 AM. Wind stayed light, which made the river sections easier to handle. Footing was solid on the dry benches and a little slick near water lines.
Overall 4/5. Difficulty 4/5. Scenery 5/5.
Plan accordingly.
