Timed it for golden hour on The Wave.
We went Wire Pass route with waypoint checks at major slickrock turns starting at 6:50 AM. Wind stayed mild and made exposed sections feel easier. Slickrock footing was solid where it stayed dry.
Midday light was harsh but the shadows added drama.
Do your homework first.
