Late start, late finish. The Wave in the evening light.
We went Wire Pass route with waypoint checks at major slickrock turns starting at 6:00 AM cold start turned into warm sun by mid-morning. Sand sections were soft but easy to follow with track lines.
Midday light was harsh but the shadows added drama.
Worth every bit of effort.
