There are moments when the trail gives you exactly what you need.
We took Left Fork trailhead to the lower Subway section with group of 3. Started around 5:10 AM when cool morning air helped us move fast before the canyon warmed up. The trail footing was solid on the dry benches and a little slick near water lines. Creek flow was moderate and easy to cross with poles.
