Here is what worked (and what did not) on the wave. We went wire pass route w/ waypoint checks at major slickrock turns starting at 4:45 am. Wind stayed mild and made exposed sections feel easier. Slickrock footing was solid where it stayed dry. Gear that worked: gaiters, approach shoes, crampons. Light gaiters helped keep sand out during the hike out. Quick scores: overall=5, difficulty=4, views=4 some trips stay w/ you.
