Compared to the long trails, Grand Canyon Rim to River is: We went South Kaibab descent with one night at Bright Angel area starting at 6:25 AM. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. Main corridor tread was firm and easy to follow all day. Your mileage may vary.
