Timed it for golden hour on Grand Canyon Rim to River.
We went South Kaibab descent with one night at Bright Angel area starting at 6:00 AM. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. Upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them.
Light was best in the first two hours.
Days like this are why I hike.
