Just got back from Grand Canyon Rim to River and had to write this down.
We went North Kaibab to inner canyon camp with a next-day climb out starting at 4:45 AM. Clear skies gave us big temperature swings between rim and river upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them.
Worth every bit of effort.
