Kit breakdown from The Wave:
We went Main Wave route w/ extra time for return navigation starting at 4:45 AM. Clear sky made timing simple and kept visibility high. Sand sections were soft but easy to follow w/ track lines.
Gear that worked: Buff, Rain jacket.
Sun gloves and a wide hat mattered more than anything else.
Just show up ready.
