Timed it for golden hour on Grand Canyon Rim to River.
We went Bright Angel down to river camps with a South Kaibab exit starting at 4:45 AM. Clear skies gave us big temperature swings between rim and river. Main corridor tread was firm and easy to follow all day.
Light was best in the first two hours.
Take what is useful.
