Wildlife sightings on grand canyon rim to river:
we went bright angel down to river camps w/ a south kaibab exit starting at 6:25 am. Rim started cold and the canyon floor warmed up by late morning. Upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them.
Wildlife/nature notes: only small critters around camp, nothing that changed our plan.
Ratings: 5 overall, 4 difficulty, 5 scenery.
Days like this are why i hike.
