Light conditions on Grand Canyon Rim to River:
We went Bright Angel down to river camps with a South Kaibab exit starting at 5:10 AM. Clear skies gave us big temperature swings between rim and river. Upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them.
Light was best in the first two hours.
10/10 would recommend.
