Out the door at 4:45 AM. Grand Canyon Rim to River sunrise session.
We went North Kaibab to inner canyon camp w/ a next-day climb out starting at 4:45 AM. Clear skies gave us big temp swings between rim and river. Main corridor tread was firm and easy to follow all day.
Midday light was harsh but the shadows added drama.
Ratings: 5 overall, 3 difficulty, 5 scenery.
Would do again in a heartbeat.
