Gear that made the difference on Grand Canyon Rim to River:
We went Bright Angel down to river camps w/ a South Kaibab exit starting at 6:50 AM clear skies gave us big temp swings between rim and river stone steps were dry by mid-morning but still rough on knees.
Gear that worked: Sunscreen, Headlamp, Puffy, Wind shell.
A light puffy was enough for dawn starts on the rim.
Questions welcome.
