Wildlife sightings on The Wave:
We went Classic out-and-back from Wire Pass before heat builds starting at 6:25 AM. Cold start turned into warm sun by mid-morning. Sand sections were soft but easy to follow w/ track lines.
Wildlife/nature notes: One snake sighting far off trail, easy to avoid.
Bottom line: Mark key waypoints.
