Fauna notes from The Subway.
We went Left Fork trailhead to the lower Subway section starting at 5:10 AM. Cool morning air helped us move fast before the canyon warmed up. Rock steps were stable, w/ a few muddy pockets by the creek.
Wildlife/nature notes: Only saw small lizards and birds near warm rock shelves.
Do your homework first.
