Cost breakdown for Grand Canyon Rim to River.
We went Bright Angel down to river camps with a South Kaibab exit starting at 5:10 AM. Rim started cold and the canyon floor warmed up by late morning. Upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them.
Short version: Break in boots at home.
10/10 would recommend.
