Budget-friendly Grand Canyon Rim to River approach.
We went South Kaibab descent with one night at Bright Angel area starting at 5:10 AM. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. Stone steps were dry by mid-morning but still rough on knees.
Ratings: 4 overall, 4 difficulty, 5 scenery.
