- Route: Bright Angel down to river camps w/ a South Kaibab exit
- Weather: Rim started cold and the canyon floor warmed up by late morning.
- Trail: Stone steps were dry by mid-morning but still rough on knees.
- Water: Water points were open, but we still carried backup capacity.
- Crowds: empty
