Late start, late finish. Grand Canyon Rim to River in the evening light.
We went South Kaibab descent with one night at Bright Angel area starting at 5:35 AM. Rim started cold and the canyon floor warmed up by late morning stone steps were dry by mid-morning but still rough on knees.
Soft overcast made for even exposure all day.
Overall 4/5. Difficulty 3/5 scenery 5/5.
Days like this are why I hike.
