Budget-friendly Grand Canyon Rim to River approach. We went South Kaibab descent with one night at Bright Angel area starting at 6:00 AM. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. Upper switchbacks held some icy patches before sun hit them. Overall 5/5. Difficulty 3/5. Scenery 4/5. That is the summary.
