Did Grand Canyon Rim to River alone this time.
We went Bright Angel down to river camps with a South Kaibab exit starting at 5:10 AM. Clear skies gave us big temperature swings between rim and river stone steps were dry by mid-morning but still rough on knees.
The kind of day that resets perspective.
