Grand Canyon Rim to River has some interesting history.
We went Bright Angel down to river camps with a South Kaibab exit starting at 5:10 AM. Clear skies gave us big temperature swings between rim and river. Stone steps were dry by mid-morning but still rough on knees.
Would do again in a heartbeat.
