Local perspective on Grand Canyon Rim to River.
We went Bright Angel down to river camps with a South Kaibab exit starting at 6:50 AM. Wind on exposed ridges eased after sunrise and made pacing simple. Stone steps were dry by mid-morning but still rough on knees.
Overall 4/5. Difficulty 5/5. Scenery 5/5.
