Animal encounters made The Wave special.
We went Main Wave route w/ extra time for return navigation starting at 5:10 AM. Clear sky made timing simple and kept visibility high route markers lined up well, still worth checking maps often.
Wildlife/nature notes: One snake sighting far off trail, easy to avoid.
