Some guidance for anyone planning Grand Canyon Rim to River. We went Bright Angel down to river camps w/ a South Kaibab exit starting at 6:00 AM. Clear skies gave us big temp swings between rim and river. Stone steps were dry by mid-morning but still rough on knees. Key considerations: First aid kit is mandatory. Would do again in a heartbeat...
